State-Of-The-Art Hot Flush Machine
Any time an automatic transmission fails, all that debris from your transmissions internal parts gets cycled throughout the transmissions cooling system, as seen in this picture, here at Jones Transmission, we have the industries best flush machine that not only heats the system above operating temperatures, but agitates it with over 120 pounds of fluid pressure in both directions to guarantee your cooling system is clean and up-to-par for the new transmission being installed. Afterall, you wouldn't want to invest in a new transmission just for all that debris from the previous unit to ruin your new investment would you? Preventive Maintenance
In the early 2000's, foreign and domestic vehicle manufacturers started placing thermal bypasses in their transmission cooling systems. This bypass acts just like the thermostat in your engines cooling system, however, when these thermostats malfunction they stick and cause the transmission to drastically overheat which in turn causes the transmission to burn up, unfortunately, by the time you see symptoms from this the damage will already be done to your clutch packs internally, even today, manufacturers are still producing vehicles with this same known issue. Luckily, there is a fix for this which we keep in stock at all times, not only will this fix keep the thermostat from sticking, but it will also make the transmission operate at cooler temperatures than it did from the factory. Always remember, a clean, cool running transmission, is a happy transmission!! Many places that do not specialize in transmission repair do not know about this issue, so often times transmissions are replaced without addressing the faulty thermostat in the cooling system, which in turn will overheat the new replacement and prematurely ruin that one as well. Unlike many shops and dealerships we offer HpTuners to all customers. With HpTuners we are able to access and make changes to every parameter in your vehicles computer. We can change tire size and calibrate speedometers, we can manage transmission shift scheduling, shift timing, shift pressures, and manage torque converter performance, we can manage engine control functions such as air, fuel, spark, timing, security, AFM/DOD, and much, much more. And for the parents out there, there are a few that are afraid of the speed that their children may be doing in their vehicle when they are alone, we can actually go in and set a speed limiter on your child's car for whatever speed you would like, for example, we can govern the vehicle so that it cannot exceed 60mph.
